      • Playing Multiple Games of Poker

There are many ways to beat the game of poker, meaning there is more than one way to make a profit.

Some players like to concentrate hard on dominating one table while others like to spread their concentration over multiple tables. Both ring game and tournament poker is about quality vs quantity, you either maintain a high strike rate using a one table strategy or accept a lower strike rate but compensate through sheer volume of play.

Playing multiple tables has the potential to be more profitable, but the mental strain involved is significant and might burn out even the most headstrong player eventually, especially if playing more than 4 tables at a time.

With that in mind, a 4 table strategy is offered for those looking to speed up their bankroll building process, or just those who get bored easily. Employers of the system will need a graphics card and monitor capable of supporting a 1600 x 1200 resolution, a broadband connection is advisable too.

There are 20 player Sit & Go's scattered on various online cardrooms that pay the top 5 places, many of them with the following payout structure:

        1st

        45%

        2nd

        25%

        3rd

        15%

        4th

        10%

        5th

        5%
Total prize pool for $5 Sit & Go = $100

For every 4 $5 Sit & Go's played, you could return a maximum of $180 for a $20 plus rake outlay, but more realistically, winning one of the four tournaments will double your investment in just over an hour, if you can place in another tournament or two, you're looking to clear a much bigger profit, typically equating to a 150% to 280% profit. In a bad case scenario, finishing second in one tournament means you've at least broke even plus a bit of pocket change.

An average day at the lower stakes tables should yield £10 to £20 an hour or better based on either winning one tournament out of every four, or, finishing second in two tournaments out of every four.
