MICHAELAS BOY hasn't run to his best since a very tight 2nd of 16 at the Curragh over 5f back in July last year (5 starts back). That run came off a mark of 97, and he's dropped a fair way in 4 runs since, now 90. First time Tongue Strap goes on hoping to bring about an upturn in form and based on his best is weighted to be competitive.

IMPEACH is a big price today based on the last time he ran over 6f at Brighton on turf. That was a long time ago, back in August 2022, but given he's been raced predominantly on the all weather bar a few turf runs in-between, its possible that he still retains that ability now switching back. That course and distance effort saw him finish a close 2nd of 11 off a mark of 81 in a class 4, so the 66 he goes off today in a class 6 could prove to be light work if he's on a going day. He's got a 94 day absence to overcome but the price makes him well worth a punt in this especially with a strong pace to aim at.

FILIBUSTERING only ran 11 days ago but it was a big step up on his previous 3 runs when making his handicap debut last time out, having been upped markedly in trip. Very close 2nd of 7 on that occasion and with his mark unchanged may be capable of running a big race again with plenty of value in his price.
